2023 Candidates
This event is an excellent opportunity for those intimidated by politics, or individuals looking to become more educated but unsure where to start. This event is also a great opportunity for young professionals eager to dive into the world of politics to understand the motivations and aspirations of those running for office.
From 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., YP's will have the opportunity for an interactive Q&A. Ask candidates about their journeys into politics and the significance of civic engagement. Gain a deeper understanding of why voting matters and how you can make a difference in your community. We hope you'll leave feeling inspired and having gained useful insight about the candidates and local politics.
Whether you’re new to politics or a seasoned voter, this event is your chance to engage directly with the individuals shaping our local future. Come ready to ask questions, share your thoughts, and be inspired to take action!
Attendees are welcomed and encouraged to stay for the Candidate Forum, directly following the genYP event in the same location. When you register, let us know if you plan to stay for the Chamber Candidate Forum and if you plan to purchase lunch.
