Five years ago I took a day off work to do nothing but write. When 4PM hit\, I had three chapters done and felt like I wanted to puke. I closed the document and didn't look at it again for almost a year.\n\n\n\nIn June of 2014 the stars must have aligned. I was on a flight from Minneapolis to Las Vegas listening to an audio book about "owning your story." Something I heard connected and I turned off the book\, opened my laptop\, and had chapter one done by the time the plane landed.\n\n\n\nWithin a month or two I got connected with BookPress Publishing and spent the next year going back and forth through the edit and design process until we were ready for print.
